The power of resonance
Mattering is a basic human need. That’s why my approach mattering-reinforcing care resonates so deeply with audiences. As I share the voices, the experiences, of the grieving children I interviewed, audiences find they can’t ignore what they are hearing. I speak to people’s hearts and minds. I get to the core of what it means to children to be cared for and supported. Once the audience hears what children experience as helpful, unhelpful and ideal care and support - direct from the experiences of children - something changes. Once they understand what grieving children want the adults caring for them, to know, and the critical role of mattering in care and support, uncertainty is replaced with clarity and confidence.
